I’m already got the ammonia and pH tests. My tank is still cycling. I set all my rock and sand on last tuesday. But just to be sure, What else is it that i need to test?
I’m not sure about planting any other things in there other than fish and invertabraes like snails, starfish… and whatever. But MAYBE one bubbletip anemone, thats it.

I’ve had a 30 gallon salt water tank in my living room for nearly four years now taking up the space where a flatscreen could go. For most of that time it has existed as a semi-regularly maintained natural, sparsely inhabited, nano reef. But something made me decide a few days ago to order a bunch of stuff from liveaquaria.com. Everything showed up today, alive and in great condition. The flame angel was alert and happy right out of the box – I was expecting them to look near comatose. This video is from about an hour after everything was added to the tank. Before today I had a tomato clownfish, anemone, cleaner shrimp, a dottyback pseudoschromis, a turbo snail, two astria snails, and two red-legged hermit crabs. Today I added: 1 – small flame angelfish 1 – yellow clown goby 1 – red scooter dragonet (male) 1 – red spotted goby 3 – bumble bee snails 2 – nerite snails 2 – turbo snails 2 – cerith snails 2 – banded trochus snails 1 – small marble sea star 1 – pom pom crab 1 – pink dwarf colored feather duster 1 – small red pincushion urchin 7 – mushroom corals including a blue Ricordea florida

A real cold water aquarium. 45 degrees and up, i keep mine at 59 degrees because that is the temperature of the ocean where these hermits came from.

Ein Seestern im Zeitraffer. Die Geschwindigkeit ist zwischen 5-9 fach angehoben. Die Schärfe ist leider etwas schwach, die Kamera hatte anscheinend mit dem dicken Glas ein Problem. The video runs 5-9 times faster. Please watch in hd!

Where are his eyes? Granted, one of my humbugs tried to bite off a tenticle, however, he was not successful in his attempt to attack. "Patrick" (starfish’s name") held his own. Patrick looks fine, but the way I understand it, if he dies, he’ll look just fine petrified as well. Should Patrick be moving alot?
