DIY 10 gallon custom sump filter for salt water reef aquarium setup UPDATE Vid 3
I got all my parts installed already! MY shipment from Petmountain.com just came in and i quickly set up the sump. MY BioCube Protien Skimmer is up and running and seems to be working great, as well as my bag of carbon and filter sponge, also i ordered a surface skimmer and a return nozzle. all i am missing now is my sand bed and algae and light… plus in my next vid ill have the plumbing done…with fish!

Here is an updated video on how my tank is doing with the new led lights. My anemone is back! I can’t believe how fast it recovered under new intense lights! I thought he was a BTA but he is a Sebae anemone so I really didn’t have enough light with power compacts! My corals are staying open all day now and they are growing alot faster under the new lights! I had a diatom bloom found out i had phosphates in my ro water so I need a new RO/DI system! I will get that squared away shortly other than that everything is doing great. I also broke off my digitata again! LOL I keep bumping it when i clean the tank so now I have three frags from the digitata! If you look close at the Dunkin coral you can see all the new heads splitting off and my zoas are growing a couple new polypes every day. My monti cap is taking the longest to adjust I think it is a little to close to the light but it is still growing and has a blue ring where it is growing.
