This is a series of video blog entries that will allow you to come along with me to set up a beautiful saltwater reef tank. this my first fish tank of any kind. If i can do it so can you.The tank is a red sea max 130D. This is the first entry of my video blog. It covers the process from set up through cycle.

Hey there this is the third part of the aquarium maintenance series, I made this video for the new salt water hobbyist, using my 20 gallon coral reef tank I covered the basics of the salt water mix, how to add different products such, buffer max from api, stress coat from api, a product called cycle from nutrafin, I used tools like the sand rake, algae scraper, algae cleaner magnet, turkey baster, 5 gallon bucket, Syphon, I also show the way I got my rena XP1 canister filter set up n layers of filtration which way they should go, starting from bottom to top # 1 mechanical ( coarse foam filter pad) , biological ( bio stars, bio rings) and chemical filtration (activated carbon or charcoal,nitrate and ammonia remover.
